It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Michels of Maumee, Ohio, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Michels and Margaret Michels (Kreuz); and his sister Janet Zieman. He is survived by: his siblings, Louise Michels, Mary Mutchler (David), Carol McGookey (Matt) and Robert Michels (Marissa); and his brother-in-law Mike Zieman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society (740 Commerce Dr b, Perrysburg, OH 43551).
