With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J Schwabel of Maumee, Ohio, born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on November 13, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Schwabel and Pearl Schwabel (Schoenberger); his children, Karen Findling (John), David Schwabel (Deb) and Bruce Schwabel (Dawn); his grandchildren, Matthew, Aaron, Ryan, John Christopher, Lucas, Cierra, Megan, Bruce Allen, Kristen, Eric, Isaiah and Olivia; his wife Virginia; and his siblings, Donna (Bob Gannon) and Carl (Virginia Schwabel). He was also cherished by 23 loving great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or the Toledo Humane Society.
