He was predeceased by: his wife Josie Espinoza; his parents, Ysidro Duran and Petra Maldonado Duran; and his siblings, Sylvester, Ysidro, Petra, Delfina, Esperanza and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Kristina Laslo, Thomas Duran and Angie Duran; and his brother Seasario Duran. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
