He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Griner and Velva Griner; his brothers, Clayton, Orlo "Bussy" and Donald; and his son-in-law Gregory Kreps.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Griner; his daughters, Vicky Kreps, Connie Walenczak (Walter), Jackie Perrault (Andrew) and Sherry Browning (Leslie); his grandchildren, Charlie (Karey), Kelly (Gregory Feeney), Chris (Kacie), Curt, Zachary (Sarah), Jennifer (Russell), Sheila, Samuel (Avery) and Jessica; and his sister Susie. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; one great great grandson.
