He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Parritt (Robinson); and his brother Jeffrey Scott Parritt. He is survived by: his father James Parritt (Diane) of Florida; his brothers, Michael Parritt (Valerie) of Perrysburg and Blake Parritt (Heidi) of Florida; his nephew Michael Parritt of Centerville; his niece Kassandra Parritt of Illinois; and his close friend Tracy Ferguson.

Donations in Chad's memory may be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
