She was predeceased by: her parents, Boleslaw "Bill" Bondarenko and Rose Bondarenko (Sandrovich); her husband Joseph K. McCarl; and her siblings, Helen Leishman and George Bondarenko.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Bortner (Jeff) of Millersville, MD and Jodi Phipps (Allen); her grandchildren, Gryphon Johnson (Marissa Cashbaugh) of Carl, Phipps and Jack Bortner; her sisters, Blanche "Billie" Cwynar and Betsy Schmidt; and her brother-in-law Jeff McCarl of Grove City, OH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
