He was predeceased by: his father Leon Schell; and his friend Ray Womer. He is survived by: his mother Etta Schell (Whorton) of Masury, OH; his wife Melissa Schell (Dobbins); his children, Lon Schell, Jr. (Janell) of Hubbard, OH, Mandee Keck (Carl) of Clark, PA, Joseph Schell (Diana), Sharon, Heather Bennett and Trish Swearingen (JT) of Brookfield, OH; and his siblings, Leon, Jr., Lance, Neal, Randy, Dale, Guy, Sandy, Shelley and Loretta. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
