He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Eugene and Ruth Rebecca Conyers (Hubbard); and his siblings, Ruth "Cookie" Young and Randall Conyers. He is survived by: his wife Nora P. Floyd; his children, Lorne Eugene Conyers (Ohnyema) and Nora Charese Wright (Thyrin); his grandchildren, Lorne Austen, Nadia Symone, Andrai Sampson, Jaden Marion, Nora McKenzie, Zytionna Barkley, Barry Toler and Noah Strozier; his great grandchild Rain; and his sisters, Patti Wallace (Daite) and Gail Ivey (Marvin). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
