He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Toy and Edith J. Toy-Sterling (Lilly). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Trent A. Toy (Lisa) of Greenville and Trevor J. Toy (Lisa) of Youngstown, Ohio; his grandchildren, Rachael Toy, Cole Toy, Alexis Toy, Hailey Toy and Liam Riley; his sister Kay Waslohn of State College, Pennsylvania; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Laurie, Kara, Cody, Zack and Cassey.

“Barb, I'm so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Growing up I always looked up to Gary like a big brother. He gave me a ride on his motorcycle when I was about 12, damn near killed me. I leaned out so I could see where we were going and got smacked right in the middle of my forehead by a June bug. Almost knocked me off! LOL My mother and father thought the world of him. He will be missed by everyone who knew him, but he is at peace now. Take care Barb. Jim (Jake) and Gail Flinchbaugh”
