He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Elmer "Red" and Florence M. Phillips (Weston); his wife Jeanne Colello; and his sister Florence "Toots" Phillips-Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Guy Simpson (Dee-Dee), Dale Phillips, Jr., Tammy Hiner (Gary) and Tisha Phillips (Grace); his grandchildren, Chelsea (Scott), Samantha, Gary, Ty, Grayson and Macy (Danny); his great grandchild Kaden; and his siblings, Skip Phillips (Joanne) and Carol Waldron (Jeff).
