With solemn reverence, we commemorate Vincent G. Matecheck of Massillon, Ohio, whose life came to an end on January 22, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Matecheck and Loretta Matecheck; and his siblings, Richard Matecheck and Donna Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Schmader; his children, Maria Bettilyon (Robbie), Lara Arnold (Joe) and Trisha Hertvik (Jason); his grandchildren, Ruth, Steven, Nora, Eleanor, Beatrix, Kyle and Joel; and his sister Margaret Hunt (Joe) of Wellesley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
