He is survived by: his wife Betty Schmader; his children, Maria Bettilyon (Robbie), Lara Arnold (Joe) and Trisha Hertvik (Jason); his grandchildren, Ruth, Steven, Nora, Eleanor, Beatrix, Kyle and Joel; and his sister Margaret Hunt (Joe) of Wellesley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
