She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Walter Hansel; her parents, Lillian Rutter and Carl Hauser; her stepmother Helen; her grandson Daniel Scott Hansel; her grandparents, Carl, Elizabeth Hauser, Charles, Dorothy Johnson and Mertyl Grant Johnson; her sister Cheri Daniels; and her aunt Betty Dimitroff.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Scott Hansel (Wendy) of Port Orange, FL, Marsha Ann Griffith (Thomas) of Massillon, Ohio. and Jodi Ann Weick-Davis (Bryan) of Massillon, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Joseph Hansel (Shannon), Bethany Hansel, Katelyn Arabie (Blake), Nathan, Matthew, Samuel Hansel, Tyler Griffith (Alyssa), Chelsie DeLeon (John), Misty and Heather Weick; her great grandchildren, Adelyn Hansel, Eloise Arabie, Daniel, Owen Reddy, Margo, Brinn Hansel, Elias, Haven and Luna Griffith; her siblings, Charles Hauser (Lois), Jan Smith (Ken), Carol Maxheimer (Monroe) and Patricia; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Hansel (Ted) and Beth McConaghy (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God (325 Lake Ave NE, Massillon, OH 44646).
