It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Dietz of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Shirley Ann leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Yohn and Gladys Yohn. She is survived by: her brothers, Jim and Joe Yohn; her husband Richard "Dick" Dietz; and her children, Mick Dietz (Dorothy), Scott Dietz (Jeanie), Polly Kirk (Bob), Terry Kassinger (Chuck), Tim Dietz (Lisa) and Kelly Bruce (Brian). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many more family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
