Ruth Vogt Lash Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Vogt Lash of Massillon, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer O. Vogt and Della Clark Vogt; her significant other Wellington Lewis Lash (Lew); and her brother E. Clark Vogt. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Lash Blanchard; her daughter-in-law Susan Orr Lash; her grandchildren, Kate (Craig Carpenter), Sam (Sally), Beau Blanchard and Sandi Lash; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Martin and Heidi Blanchard.
In that year, both WWI and the Spanish Flu pandemic officially ended, Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson were President, the Grand Canyon became a national park, and, a year later, American women were granted the right to vote.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth designated the Massillon Woman's Club at 210 4th St. NE, 44646, or St. Timothy's Episcopal Church at 226 3rd St. SE, 44646.
