She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Coke" Welch and Helen Welch (Schillings); her stepson Terry Smith; and her sister Joanne Marcum. She is survived by: her children, Ricky Smith, Tom Smith, Catrina Smith (Eric Croston) and Darena Garrett (Chad); her siblings, Louise Simmons and David Welch (Helen); and her stepdaughter Regina Smith. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
