He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Brandi James Westfall Ramey (Kevin), Jennifer Hye (James), Robert James (Nichole), Michael McKibben (Missy) and Molly McKibben Lahmers (Melvin); his siblings, Don James (Lorraine) and Brenda Thomas Pauley; his niece Traci Thomas Wells; his grandchildren, Josie Westfall, Lauren Westfall, Grant Westfall, Quentin Hye, Kevin James, Hannah James, Hayley James, Colton James, Kelsey James, Sierra McKibben Ferrell, Zack McKibben, Autumn Lahmers and Ashley Lahmers; his stepgrandchildren, Kensley Ramey and Kaden Ramey; and his great grandchildren, Ava Ferrell, Collin Ferrell, Kippton McKibben and Marlee Majewski.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Ron's name to Jackson High School boys and girls basketball, football, cheerleading, girls volleyball and track or Newcomerstown High School football.
