He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Watkins (Tschudy); his stepfather Lewis Watkins; and his brothers, Jim and Dan. He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Watkins (Schmader); his children, Anne Watkins (Mike Cullop) of Massillon, Michael Watkins (Patricia) of Massillon, Dan Watkins of Massillon and David Watkins (Terri) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Morgan, Kate, Lauren, Emily, Sarah, Will, Nate and Amanda; his great grandchild Cecilia; his brother Sam Watkins (Debbie) of Pickerington; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Sutton (John) of Pittsburgh and Betty Matecheck (Vincent) of Massillon.
They have also suggested memorial contributions to advance the mission and ministries of Divine Mercy Parish at St. Barbara or the donor's charity of choice.
