He is survived by: his former wives, Ella R. Kirkland and Mary D. Kirkland; his children, Devray Kirkland (Nicky) and Chase Kirkland (Destinee Barnes); and his stepdaughter Tamara Moss. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
