We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Phyllis Johnson of Massillon, Ohio, born in Oil City, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Grening and Marge Grening; her son Barry "BJ" Johnson; and her sisters, Marlu McCoy and Gayle Hoffman.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald L. Johnson (Jerry); her children, Lori Nemec, Scott Johnson (Sherry), Bruce Johnson (Maria) and Luther "Brian" Johnson; her grandchildren, Chelsey Cueto (Isaac), Courtney Johnson (Kindra), Zoe Johnson, Lea Johnson, Kylie Johnson, Khloe Johnson, Logan Nemec, Lucy Nemec and Colin Tabellion; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Cueto, Phoebe Cueto and Ezra Cueto. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Herks' memory to the Hamot Nursing Alumni Scholarship c/o Rebecca Wilson 4069 Argyle Ave. Erie, PA 16505 and St. Jude's Hospital.
