He was predeceased by: his parents, Murrell Riley and Geraldine Riley; and his siblings, Bess, Pat and Buck.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy, Sarah, Michael Jr., Lesia, Mark and Matthew; and his sisters, Sue, Debbie, Sarah, Johanna and Rosalie. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
