He was predeceased by: his parents, Lazo Ilia and Elinka Kerazovska; and his daughter Ellen Ilia. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ilia; his son Louis Elia (Rebecca); and his grandchildren, Katie Stead (Julian), Jonathan Elia (Lauren Odenkirk), Julia Whisman (Adam), Christopher Elia and Nathan Ausel (Marsha). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
