She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Hammer and Mabel Hammer (Halter); and her husband John R. Kessel. She is survived by: her daughter Jodi Kessel Szpiszar (Marc) of Hubertus; her grandchildren, Matthew Lyon (Nettie Rauch) of West Allis, WI, Madison Lyon (Alyssa Padilla) of Germany and Andrew Szpiszar (Carlie Walker); her great grandchild Oakley Rae Szpiszar of Oak Creek, WI.; her children, Jeffrey Kessel (Candy), Hannah, Ryan of Massillon, Jonathan Kessel (Jennifer), Jackson, Jordyn of Canton, Joel Kessel (Cathy), Jenna and Cole of Dublin, Ohio.; and her brothers, Norbert "Skip" Hammer of Brewster and Harold "Butch" (Helen Hammer) of Dublin, Ohio.. She is also survived by four children, eight grandchildren, one step-grandson and one step-great-granddaughter.
