He was predeceased by: his parents, John Winter and Marilyn Winter (Remley); and his siblings, Jack Winter, Tom Winter, Nancy Winter and Kathy Masalko.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, J. D. Winter (Kara) and Brittany Preusser (Matthew Baughman); and his grandchildren, Jayden Winter, KJ Preusser, Kendall Winter, Olivia Preusser, Jett Preusser and Brady Baughman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
