Skacal of Massillon, Ohio, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Skacal and Margaret Skacal (Ritson); his wife Barbara Louise Skacal; and his daughter Tammy Skacal. He is survived by: his children, Debra Reble (Doug), James (Stefanie), Charles "Matt" Skacal (Carol), Susan Rohrbough (Mick), Linda Antle (Lee), Cynthia Rohrbough (Len), Cindy Braden (Tom), Vicki Deasy (John), David Walter (Heidi) and Michael Walter (Carol); his grandchildren, Tom Zych (Dawn), Dr. Alexandra Palazzo (Zack), Thane Skacal (Nicole), Seth Large (Andrea), David Puchtler, Michael Puchtler (Julia), Steven Deasy (Athena), Chris Deasy (Elise), Samantha Walter (Ian), Jack Walter, Emma Walter, Whitney Allen (Dwane), Laura Walter, Jon Walter (Bryan), MacKenzie Walter and Luke Cowgill (Krista); and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Beveridge. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
