With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James F. Myers Sr. of Massillon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Myers and Hazel Myers (Newson); his wife Neoma Myers; his stepdaughter Mary Huey; and his great grandchild Jarron Stagg.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Taylor (Kevin), James Myers Jr. (Kathy) and Patricia Elward (Frank Kirby); and his stepdaughters, Ruth Maxheimer, Debbie Bennethum and Rowena Kippenhan. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
