With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Harper of Massillon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margueritta Harper; and his siblings, Harold Benjamin, Leroy Harper, Betty Harper and Beverly Ann Harper.
He is survived by: his sister Ruby Arrington; and his nieces and nephews, Larry, Jay, Deandre, Bernadine, Sherry, Rosalind, Denise, Bonnie and Tracy. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. James AME Zion Church (209 2nd St SW, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (1827 Erie St S, Massillon, OH 44646).
