He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sherrod (Stokes); his children, Tanya Sherrod and Gary L. Sherrod II; and his siblings, Leslie, Kristy Estel, Stacey Estel and Rusty Sherrod. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
