With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick T. Van Brunt Sr. of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on February 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Kenneth Brunt and Agnes Van Brunt (Prosser); his brothers, Douglas and Kenneth Van Brunt; his grandson Collin Abbott; and his daughter Hope Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Van Brunt (Huntsman); his children, Fred Van Brunt, Jr., Carolyn Van Brunt, Phil Van Brunt and Jennifer Van Brunt (Eric Pridham); his grandchildren, Thomas Miller (Molly), Michael Miller (Lauren), Nolan Van Brunt and Keagan Abbott (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Jack Miller and Gianna Miller; and his sister Madeline Starr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army of Massillon.
