We bid farewell to Esther Jean Kidd of Massillon, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 97. Esther touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Conrad and Zelpha Conrad (Shaffer); her great-grandparent Jean; her husband Karl E. Kidd; her son Karl G. Kidd; her siblings, Mary, Ila, Coral, Florence, John and Harold; and her son-in-law Byron W. Lash.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl L. Lash of Dalton; her granddaughters, Kristine Soper (Bill) and Traci Quate (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Mary of North Carolina and Michael Soper of North Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home (26 2nd St NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
They further suggest memorial contributions to advance the mission and ministry of Central Presbyterian Church in Massillon.
