Eric D. Thurman Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2025, at the age of 54, Eric D. Thurman Sr. of Massillon, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Eric shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eric farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Thurman (Sheegog); and his brother Carlos Sheegog. He is survived by: his father Emmit Thurman; his son Eric D. Thurman, Jr.; his sister Carlina Snellenberger (Bryan); and his aunts, Cynthia Sheegog and Victoria Sheegog. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646).
