He was predeceased by: his siblings, Helen Widder, Sharon McLaughlin, Doris Fockler, Arthur McLaughlin and William McLaughlin Ed.

He is survived by: his children, Jeanette Bower, Edwin McLaughlin and Erwin McLaughlin; and his sisters, Beverly Worshil (David) and Donna Selogy.
