He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Laps and Beulah Laps (Harmon) of Massillon, OH.; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Turskey (Veryl), Frank Laps Jr. (Hazel), Ralph Laps (Peggy), Donald Laps (Patty), Eugene Laps (Margaret) and Eileen Zeller (Tom).
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Laps (Russell); his sons, Erik and Kirk Laps; his grandchildren, Elyse, Rachel, Nathaniel, Jacob and Mackenzie Laps; and his in-laws, Ray Russell (Linda) and Brenda Russell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital or The St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank at St. Mary's.
