He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Heflin and Doris Heflin (Huprich); his children, Virginia Johnson and Dennis Heflin; and his siblings, Clara Neal Dickey, Helen Heflin, Patty Heflin and Richard Heflin.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Courtney Johnson; his wife Rheta Heflin; his daughters, Vickie Sparrow (John), Doris "Dolly" Wenning and Annie Holbrook; and his siblings, Cheryl Heflin, Diane Holmes, Donald Heflin, Scott Heflin and Mark Heflin. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
