It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clifford E. Whipkey Jr. of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Whipkey and Icel Whipkey (Hoover); and his brothers, Robert Whipkey, James Whipkey and Bill Whipkey.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Whipkey (Turner); his children, Rebecca Weber (Mike) and Clifford Whipkey III (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Clifford Whipkey IV, Clint Whipkey, Chad Whipkey (Emma), Alec Weber (Kylar) and Jordan Weber; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Clifford V and Boston; his sister Linda Dottavio; his sisters-in-law, Donna Whipkey and Rita Miller; and also, Betty, Becky, Maryann, Karen and Kirsten. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Massillon Church of Christ (915 State St NE, Canton, OH 44721).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
