With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Eileen Portmann (Massillon, Ohio), born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on July 9, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Girard and Patricia Girard (Janning). She is survived by: her husband Richard Portmann; her sons, Jeremy Portmann (Jennifer) of Spring Lake, NC and Jason Portmann (Kimber) of Jasper, GA; her grandchildren, Leah, Autumn, Jack, Noelle, Arlo and Finley; and her siblings, Thomas Girard, Steven Girard, Suzanne Girard (John Swartz), Jeff Girard (Andie), Kevin Girard (Nickii) and Nina Nadolny (Jeff). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and in keeping with Carolyn's ever spirit of giving and caring for others, the family wishes that donations be made in her honor to your charity of choice.
