With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Lesley Short of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Skidmore and Janet Skidmore (Hodges); and her brother Paul Skidmore. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Short and Janet Hopkins; her grandchildren, David and Julia Hopkins; and her pets, Toby and Zach.
Carol had a compassionate heart for rescuing animals, like Toby and Zach, so any memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Stark County Humane Society, P.O. Box 7077, Canton, Ohio 44705.
