She was predeceased by: her parents, Ona Alice Collier and Clarence Collier; and her husband William Thomas Henry. She is survived by: her children, Toni Scherbauer, Gary Henry (Patricia) and Lee Williams. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Virginia's name to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the American Heart Association.
