He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Strickfaden Jr. and Geraldine E. Strickfaden; his sister Carol; and his siblings-in-law, Leon Groff and Kate Storch.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Strickfaden; his children, Scott Strickfaden (Kimberlee), Brian Strickfaden (Carolyn), Jeffrey Strickfaden, Christine Swallow (Andy) and Susan Vance (Quinn); his grandchildren, Kylee, Lucas Strickfaden, Landon, Jackson Strickfaden, Joseph Strickfaden, Brady, Davis, Alex Swallow, Josh Hotze (Katie) and Lydia Vance; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Ava, Isabell and Cooper Thomas Hotze; and his sisters, Dona Ehrhardt and Ann Groff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
