She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell English and Bertha English; her close friend Robert Scheve; and her grandchildren, Andrew Shafer and Tia Shafer.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley Russell Shafer (Mary), Steven Roy Shafer (late Jan) and Robyn Shafer Schmitt Yull (late Jon Schmitt); and her grandchildren, Nicolas Shafer, Robert Steven Roy Shafer, Cory Leo Shafer, Monica Schmitt DiRocco and Nicole Schmitt McLawhorn.
