He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Horning, Sr. and Ruth Horning; and his sister-in-law Polly Horning. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Horning; his children, Brittany Donovan (Andrew), R. J. Horning, III (Meredith) and Ted Horning; his grandchildren, William, Henry Donovan, Robbie and Eva Horning; and his brother Chuck Horning. He is also survived by loving family members and friends.
