He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Arter and Florence Arter; his daughter Wende Barnes; and his brother Robert Arter. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Arter; his sons, Brent Arter and Kent Arter (Connie); his son-in-law Doug Barnes; his grandchildren, Todd Barnes (Christin), Teri Barnes, Collin Arter and Reille Breitigam (William); and his great grandchildren, Austin, Cara, Declan and Ainsley Barnes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
