He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Green and Opal McVey Green; his wife Ruby Green; and his brothers, Hughie Green, William "Joe" Green and Roger Green.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Sliger (Greg), Polly Green (David), Esther Green and Richard Green; his grandchildren, Rick, Ellen (Jamie), Jay (Melissa), Evan (Betsy), Hannah (Aaron) and Ethan; and his great grandchildren, Victoria, Jonah, Lucy, Ruby, Lilly, Mabry and Oliver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
