He was predeceased by: his parents, John Deck and Lynnette Deck; and his daughters, Michelle Cash and Shari Deck. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Deck (Hurd); his daughters, Jennifer (Paul) and Kimberly; his sisters, MaryAnn Pearson and Jacqueline Lawson (Don); his siblings-in-law, Jerry Hurd (Diana), Steve Hurd (Mary) and Debby Newkirk (Don); his grandchildren, Danny, Brad (Abbey), Brittany (Tony), Cierra, Andrew, Marissa, Charles and Alexis; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Carson, Tyler, Dane, Brantley, Chassity, Chael and Dean Michael. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home (400 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Susanna Catholic Church (616 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249).
