For Karen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her brother Patrick Geary. She is survived by: her husband Richard Oaks; her children, Cody, Courtney and Kyle; her grandchildren, Cori and Keaton Oaks; her cousin Kathy Dudley; and her sister-in-law Sue Geary. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Karen requested that memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
