He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Shurin and Margaret Shurin (Fletcher). He is survived by: his wife Michele Shurin (April); his children, Joseph Shurin III (Laurie) and Brianna Bradford (David); his grandchildren, Brent Kight, Wade Kight, Emory Bradford, Lincoln Bradford and Sloane Bradford; his great grandchildren, Avery Kight and Colter Kight; his sister Dorothy "Cookie" Rodriguez; and his aunt Dodie Price.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mueller Funeral Home (6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
