He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Ethel Glisson and Sherman Glisson; and his brothers, Larry Glisson and Mike Glisson. He is survived by: his wife Sara E. 'Candie' Glisson; his children, Shane Perkins, Jonathan Perkins (Abby), Crystal Perkins (Shawn Cremeans), Sabrina Perkins (Theo Leonard) and Lori Bailey (Mike Donaldson); his grandchildren, Jonathan Ray, Bryson N. "Scrappy" Perkins, Raylynn "Squirt" Perkins and Charlie; his brother Chad Glisson; his mother-in-law Wanda Perkins; and his brother-in-law Tom Perkins (Kim). He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
