He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marion and Cora Susan Carter (Robins); and his sons, Mike Carter, Steve Carter and Don Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Vonda Carter (Biggs); and his children, Cynthia Lashley, Angela Justice and James Timothy Carter. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grace Baptist Church (5595 Mason Rd, Mason, OH 45040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
