He was predeceased by: his daughter Elaine Vargo (Dan); his sisters, Carol and Karen; his granddaughter Mary Elizabeth; and his parents, James Mulvey and Elizabeth Mulvey (Heiberger).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Mulvey; his children, Bridget Robertson (Jim), Jim Mulvey and Tim Mulvey (Cyndi); and his grandchildren, Jason, Nick (Angie), Emily (Nate), Erin (Aaron), Megan (Joe), Lauren, Mark (Jory), Kelly, Melissa (Nate), Katie, Fiona, Luke, Cody (Lacena), Corey (Veronica) and Connor. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Cleveland Clinic Research Department.
