He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hughes and Margaret Hughes; and his brother Bill Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Jean Hughes; his daughter Cara Hasselbeck (Greg); his granddaughter Lauren Hasselbeck; and his sister Jane Ann Byrnes.
