She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Monti and Lena Monti; her spouse Thomas Simmer; her children, Valerie Brabbs (David) and Michael Simmer; her grandchildren, Mandi Egan (Brian), Alexandra Brabbs and Sarah Brabbs; her great grandchild Brody Egan; and her sister Joan Konopka (Ted).
